Fedxmeds is an Online Physician Scheduling Service. We provide you with the means to schedule a private telephone consultation with a US Licensed Physician. This service is currently only available to residents of the USA.
Once you register, and enter the Members' area, you will be presented with a list of available appointment dates and times. Once you have selected a convenient appointment, your payment, for our services, will be processed and your booking will be confirmed on screen, and by email. There are 5 stages to this service:
As a member you will not need to re-enter your personal details, on each visit. This information is maintained on our secure server, and is made available to the Physician during the consultation process.
All faxed documents are captured by our secure data capture system, then placed into your file. This area can only be accessed and viewed by your consulting physician, and is not available otherwise.
You must contact the appropriate pharmacy to order your refills. The Pharmacy will usually provide contact information within their shipment, but you may also find the links to your selected pharmacy on our FAQ pages.
The Pharmacy, that fills your prescriptions, will be given access, under secure conditions, to your credit card details. The Pharmacy will then charge your card for the medication, and any shipping and handling charges associated with them.
We NEVER bill your credit card, unless we have provided a service to you. You are required to enter new credit card information every time you schedule a consultation. This is done for security, so you know that only YOU can approve any charges.
Your prescription, once approved, and filled by a Pharmacy, will be shipped to the Shipping Address you entered in the 'Shipping Address Details' portion of the sign-up process.
| As an example, after reviewing a patient's records, and directly speaking with the patient, the Physician determines that they require a pain medication. The Physician will then write a prescription for an appropriate medication, in an appropriate quantity, usually 90 or 120, the prescription will also have 2 refills. The Physicians will base their choices on the consultation and the supporting medical documentation. The Physician may choose to prescribe several medications at the same time, at their sole discretion. If prescriptions are issued, they will be forwarded to a US licensed Pharmacy for filling and shipping. It should be noted that prescriptions, for controlled medications, are only valid for 6 months after their date of issue. |
We hope this service proves valuable to you and that you inform your colleagues and associates.
